As a non-profit gallery space, CNAC LAB will offer experimental programs.
CNAC LAB will actively try the experimental exhibitions and symposiums with which commercial galleries and public museum might have difficulties.
The program started in October will include contemporary art exhibitions with particular emphasis on video art, and regular lectures and symposiums covering art, architecture and designs.
On the special occasion of the grand opening of CoSTUME NATIONAL Aoyama Complex, CNAC LAB has displayed “CoSTUME NATIONAL : 25 Years”, the archive of representative styles during the 25 years of the brand, The archive space has been designed by a young and talented architect, Mr. Ryuji Nakamura.
CNAC Lab is currently showing Emily Wardill’ s film, Sick Serena and Dregs and Wreck and Wreck (2007), until January 15 2012.
